Literature Text

A whisper of the wind. Waves of soft motherly care flow through river-like coal hair. Silk feeling on naked moonlight skin. Innocent diamond eyes contain the sky and stars, come alive out of their hiding place. Fragile face lifts up to the mother, the angel with a scarred back. Rosy cheeks and hushed excitement on small lips. Awe before the mother, cuddled in her roots to find protection. The angel Queen is strong, but her life is being stolen slowly by her child. They are forgiven, they are loved.
Small fingers holding onto silky-skinned hand, wanting. Curious starry eyes, trying to understand, rob the mother of her secrets. Child's lips press against a tired forehead, sucking life with a caring touch. Evil innocence, stomped kindness, shattered beauty. Small arms wrap around the Queen. Baby nails dig into torn silk, where her ripped angel wings stay forever unmoving. Pain seeps from the mother's mouth in a cry. Empty gaze looks up, blind. Chapped lips bite down the sound in her throat. Small pink lips curve in naive happiness, a new discovery. Puffy arms brought together to celebrate, connect in a clap. Crimson baby fingers touch tear-stained silky cheeks to take droplets of pain. An old eternally young face painted with sacrifice, the Queen falls. Her child satisfied.
Last breath escapes, soft waves stop flowing through coal hair. Small lips frown and starry diamond eyes widen. Moonlight skin-covered baby hands tremble. The mother is lost in blissful sadness, shattered beauty. Child is next.
I kind of like this one. Maybe because it's not about me. This is a bit of an experiment. I'm trying out something new.
Can you see the metaphor? I'll give cookies to anyone who guesses it.

I read this a while ago (probably when you first posted it) and let it just sit in my inbox so I could come back to it after I thought on it. I dont really know exactly what it's a metaphor for, but I came to my own conclusion. I dont know if it's right though haha ^^'

I'm thinking that it might be about how a mother gives her everything to raise her child and the it constantly takes, like all children do in reliance on their parent, but the mother doesnt care because it's helping her child become stronger, more knowledgeable, more able to face the world and fend for itself.

I don't think I get a cookie though...
because I can totally take this to a more literal level and start talking about vampires. O_O

I wont read any comments in case it's said there. This is really well written though and very pretty. Did I come close to getting the answer right in any way shape or form? *is doubtful haha*
